Who we are
AutoYard Lab is operated from Argentina and serves readers primarily in the United States. The site runs on Shopify.

The short version
We are a comparison site. We do not sell you anything, so we never see your payment details. We collect very little: your email address if you choose to subscribe, a message if you contact us, and anonymous usage statistics if you consent to analytics cookies.
What we collect, and why
Email address - only if you give it to us
If you subscribe to our updates or join a waitlist, we store your email address in order to send you those emails. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with manufacturers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Messages you send us
If you contact us, we keep your message and your contact details for as long as needed to deal with it and to keep a record of corrections made to the site.
Usage data
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregate information about how the site is used: which pages are visited, which comparisons are opened, and which outbound links are clicked. We use this to decide what to cover next. It is not used to build a profile of you as an individual, and IP addresses are anonymized where the analytics provider supports it.
Data we never collect
We do not collect payment card details, bank details or billing addresses, because no purchase ever happens on this site.
Cookies
Cookies strictly necessary to make the site work are always set. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you consent through the banner, and you can decline - the site works normally either way. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.
As of September 13, 2026 no analytics provider is enabled on this site. We set no analytics or marketing cookies at all. The site is built so that analytics can be turned on later, but nothing is loaded until that happens.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you click an affiliate link you leave this site. The merchant may set its own cookies and will process your data under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Affiliate programs typically record that a visit originated from us, so that any resulting sale can be attributed. They do not tell us who you are.
This site runs on Shopify, which processes technical data such as IP address and browser information in order to serve the pages. As of September 13, 2026 Shopify is the only third-party service in use. We have not connected an email platform, an analytics tool or any advertising service.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent you have given. To exercise any of these, write to us at contact@autoyardlab.com.
Where your data is handled
We operate from Argentina, and the services we rely on - Shopify for hosting, and any analytics provider once one is enabled - may process data outside your country. If you are in the United States or the EU, that means your data may be transferred internationally. We keep this to the minimum described above: an email address if you give us one, a message if you send one, and anonymous usage statistics only if you consent.
How long we keep things
Subscriber emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact messages: Analytics data: for the retention period configured in the analytics tool.
Children
This site is intended for adults purchasing garden equipment. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date below. Material changes will be announced on the site.
